Almost Turkey Time... but Ready for Christmas!

We spent the day today helping my mom get ready for thanksgiving...I helped make a Tiramsu Trifle. It looked delicioso!! They have their tree up and so it really makes me want to put ours up. As soon as we get rid of our furniture, and pick up the new couch...THEN we'll put up the tree!

I'm really excited for christmas this year. It'll be Karis's first christmas and she'll have no idea whats going on I suppose! At least we get to stop and spend time with our families. I've had the christmas music playing for the last week or so, so I'm ready!!

3 LITTLE FISHIES

So, I finally decided on what my first quilt endeavor will be...a quilt for miss karis using Heather Ross's Mendocino Fish, A Micheal Miller Pink binding, Anna Maria Horner fabric from Garden Party. I'm really excited...now to just get my fabric!!

This will be my first real sewing ezperience.Good luck to me!

Pumkin Patch Beauty!

So..the pictures are in from Karis' first trip to the pumpkin patch...and they turned out SOOO cute! Maybe I'm biased because she's mine, but...What a beauty!

We had a good time there...she got a little baby pumpkin...and tried to eat the stem off! Then for halloween she was a ladybug...I'll post the other pics later! Hope everybody is having a wonderful pumpkin season!

Monday again already!

I can hardly believe that it is Monday again already. Karis is taking a nap...almost 3 hours now. her teeth are getting ready to come in i think so she hasn't been sleeping well at night, thus a longer naptime in the day...which would be greatly convenient during the day except I am exhausted from being up with her in the night. Oh well...she's too cute to be mad at!

The wedding this weeking was lovely..Good luck to Joshua and Bethany! I ended up taking back 3 sets of jewelry that i picked out but decided i didn't like! And i just borrowed shoes!! That was the easiest thing to do!

Hopefully we are gonna take karis to the pumpkin patch today or tommorrow so i should get some cute pics posted up! Have a great fall day!

A Dress, Some Shoes, and a Sleepy Little Lady...

Just working a little bit on the childrens church manual for November. I am horrible about saying no to things, so i volunteered to revamp the childrens church. Hopefully it works... i have little expertice in this area, but we'll see i suppose.

Karis and I went shopping today...what a long trip it was. She was such a trooper though. We have a wedding to go to this weekend so i had to find Karis a dress and shoes. For me, hose, shoes and jewelry. We got just about everything we needed minus my shoes. Well, i bought jewelry, but I don't think it's exactly what i want so I may take it back.

And now, while the little lady sleeps, I will work some more. ..
